Looking up to you

A younger cousin of mine has just come out of surgery. She has a disability that stops her from walking. If this surgery goes perfectly, she will one day be able to walk with a stick. At the moment she is in the ward at the hospital, and in a great deal of pain.

About a year ago, one of my dearest friends went through a different form of surgery for the same mobility impairment. I went to visit her in hospital. I could see how much pain she was in. She got through it.

My cousin and my friends are two of the bravest people in the world, and I will always look up to them.
